About This Publication

Reincarnation and the Law of Karma is an introduction to the doctrines of rebirth and spiritual cause and effect. Atkinson systematically traces the history of reincarnation beliefs across global traditions, including Egyptian, Greek, Jewish, and Hindu lineages. He frames the soul as an eternal traveler on a continuous journey toward refinement and perfection. Rather than viewing karma as a system of cosmic punishment or reward, the text explains it as a natural, impersonal law of moral cause and effect. Atkinson argues that a person’s current talents, challenges, and inner character are the direct result of choices made in past lifetimes, and that conscious choices made in the present will actively construct their future destiny.

The book was the first title released by the Yogi Publication Society under the name of William Walker Atkinson, although it was first released under the Advanced Thought Publishing Company in 1908.
